Joining this Pod was one of the BEST things I've ever done for myself/my daughter!  The individualized guidance and support was huge.  Knowing other caregivers were in it with you was so helpful to not feel alone.”

Mom of 2.5 year-old boy:

“All in all, I can’t believe how well this has gone. Thank you so much for your guidance! The Pod was great and I really love your even keeled approach.”

Let’s be real… the thought of potty training your toddler can be super anxiety-provoking, am I right?

  • Is your toddler showing signs of potty training readiness but you have no idea how to actually start?

  • Are you worried that you’re going to “do it wrong” or “mess them up” when you begin potty training?

  • Have you tried potty training before and it didn’t go well?

Do you want to feel supported IN REAL-TIME to move through the potty training process together?

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, the Potty Training Pod is for you!

Together we will:

  • Move through the steps of potty training in a developmentally-friendly, routines-based, child-led way.

  • Troubleshoot common potty training issues like refusals to sit on the potty, fear of poop, and so much more.

  • Create a community of like-minded parents going through the process together.

  • Feel PROUD of your child for learning how to use the potty!

Who it’s for:

  • Parents/caregivers with toddlers ages 18 months - 3.5 years who is not yet officially potty-trained during the day, but feel like their child may be ready

If you want to feel GUIDED and SUPPORTED during this process, this is for you!

What you get:

  • Immediate and forever access to the Potty Training Bootcamp Course

  • Weekly, step-by-step instructions for what to do that week to move through the potty training process

  • Four LIVE Q+A’s with Jess (recorded if you can’t make it live)

  • Unlimited ability to ask questions directly through the group (24 hours or less response time)

  • Collaboration with other caregivers going through the potty training process together

FAQs:

Does this work for a child in daycare?

  • Yes! I recommend staying close to home during the official “Bye-Bye Diapers” weekend, but otherwise, there is no problem with your child being in full-time childcare - in fact, most of the kids are! (It's also okay if your child is not.)

What if my child still sleeps in a crib?

  • Totally fine! We tackle daytime potty training during the Potty Pod. Your child will continue to wear diapers/pull-ups overnight for now. I explain exactly what happens with nighttime later.

Is the Pod appropriate for my child with special needs or developmental delays?

  • Most likely, yes, but it depends. Your child does not need to be fully talking to learn how to potty-train. However, with other needs or delays, it really varies since every child is so different. I have years of experience as a pediatric OT teaching children of various abilities how to use the toilet. If this applies to you, please email me at jessica@rootedinroutine.com and we can chat further!

My child is VERY strong-willed. How will this ever work?!

  • To be blunt, it's rare to meet a toddler who is not strong-willed… most toddlers are! They also tend to be opinionated and don't like to be told what to do : ) With my background in child development, I help you work with your child's natural tendencies and preference for control, while also holding certain new boundaries, to find a happy middle ground that works.
