THE POOP GROUP

Daily support to get your child pooping on the potty.

$44/month

(You can cancel anytime or when you no longer need support!)

Is your child potty-trained for pee but still struggling with poop?

YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

If your child does one or more of the following:

  • asks for a diaper or pull-up to poop

  • has frequent poop accidents in their underwear

  • waits for their nighttime pull-up to poop

  • seems to hold in their poop even when they have to go

…you need poop help!

Some children have fear, anxiety, or lack of skills when it comes to pooping on the potty that can lead to the above behaviors. While this can be common, it is something we do want to address sooner rather than later, because the longer it goes on, the harder it can be to overcome it and get those poops where they belong…. on the potty!

The Poop Group is for you if:

You have a child ages 2+ years with no known medical diagnosis that affects digestion or related physiological systems

You have already potty-trained, but your child is still struggling to poop on the potty consistently

You’re not sure how to handle things like poop accidents, holding it in, or asking for a pull-up

You want to use child-led, routines-based strategies that feel aligned with your parenting philosophy

Monthly Investment: $44/month

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING

"He’s 1000% pooping on the potty! Thank you for all of your support.”

-Mom of stubborn 3.5 year-old boy who previously asked to put on a pull-up to poop

———

He went straight to the potty and pooped! He was SOOO proud of himself. We are over the moon that after 7 months he pooped in the potty. He said it was easy and he felt better and that was the best part.”

- Mom of 3.5 year-old boy who previously waited for his nighttime pull-up to poop

———

She is officially potty-trained! I implemented some of your verbiage and increased the books and videos about it and she caught on very quickly - followed by pooping as well! So happy about it. Thanks for your resources!”

FAQs

  • How long will it take for my child to learn how to poop on the potty?

    • While I wish I could give you an exact answer, every child is truly different. Sometimes poop issues can be resolved fairly quickly and other times it can take a few weeks/months to get things going. What I can promise you is that you will know exactly what to do (and not do) to work towards poops on the potty and feel supported along the way.

  • Will this group help if my child has a speech or other developmental delay?

    • Most likely, yes, but it depends. Your child does not need to be fully talking to learn how to poop on the potty. However, with other needs or delays, it really varies since every child is so different. I have years of experience as a pediatric OT teaching children of various abilities how to use the toilet. If this applies to you, please email me at jessica@rootedinroutine.com and we can chat further!

  • How does this group work?

    • The Poop Group functions largely as a messaging board. Each week, you will have a chance to ask your poop questions on the weekly thread and I will respond within 24-48 hours. This allows me to support you through individualized guidance catered to your specific child’s poop needs. It’s helpful to read through other member’s questions, too! There is also one LIVE Q+A session per month (replay available if you can’t join live) where I will talk you through in depth about specific poop struggles and solutions.

  • Can I leave the group anytime?

    • Yes! The Poop Group charges you each month, so if/when you no longer need support, simply cancel your subscription. You will keep access to the group until the next billing cycle.
